5 WELLNESS ESSENTIALS UNDER $50

Being in the holistic space since 2018, it always amazes me at how much has changed. Trends have come and gone the last 7 years, and with the rise of holistic wellness, clean girl aesthetic, it can be so overwhelming understanding what is and what is not worth your time and money.

Scroll to see my top 5 essentials, that have been in my routine for years.

FACIAL LYMPH MASSAGE

Save yourself the $ of buying a gua sha and follow along this video. I became obsessed with facial massaging during COVID lockdown and this has stayed in my routine for 4 years. I prefer using an oil over a serum for this. Favorite are Seaberry Facial Oil, and Youth Beauty Facial Oil. These are my preferences, feel free to use whatever you have on hand. My biggest takeaway from doing this, is preventative care for fine lines. Botox and filler free baby! Try it and you’ll see what I mean. Video linked HERE.

JUNA

Beauty sleep is a real thing. One thing about me is I will not sacrifice sleep. As much as I love trendy wellness, it’s the more “mundane” things that have a profound difference. Sleep being #1. And let me tell ya, I LOVE Juna. I have put so many of my friends onto these sleep gummies. They don’t make you feel groggy, or tired. I love that this was formulated by leading doctors, and women's health experts to support deep, restorative sleep. A staple of mine for 3+ years.

MINERALS FOR WATER

I love to SWEAT. Whether it’s hot yoga, sauna, or a good workout sweating for me is essential. Consuming water containing these trace minerals are great for replenishing electrolyte levels lost through sweating and other bodily processes. I am a huge fan of cleansing the body, and minerals are essential to this process to keep your body happy and optimizing the way it needs to. Helps with mineral absorption, helps restore pH balance, and supports normal bowel function, sleep, mood, muscles and the body's electrical system.

DRY BRUSH

My friend Jesse Golden put me onto dry brushing and I never looked back (I mean look at her)! Dry Brushing is fascinating to me because it is a quick ritual that takes maybe 30 seconds each day and you see the difference pretty noticeably. There aren’t a lot of products that do that in opinion. I’ve talked about having Keratosis Pilaris in the past and incorporating dry brushing every day is a huge reason of why that skin condition went away. Think of dry brushing as an intense exfoliation for your skin. The direction of which you dry brush IS important, see the graphic I pulled below. You want to follow the lymph, because this actually heavily reduces cellulite and leaves your skin smoother on a deeper level. Any dry brush will do, whether it’s a $10 one from Amazon, or a splurge from Goop.

MOUTH TAPE

I freakin love this, and I love that too many people are finding out about this. There are so many great mouth tapes out there, they all do the same thing. Taping your mouth shut is designed to encourage you to breathe through your nose rather than your mouth. Why do you sleep better with your mouth taped shut? Whether you have sleep apnea or not, when compared to mouth breathing, nasal breathing has been shown to improve sleep quality by reducing the frequency and duration of sleep disturbances. The one I use is linked HERE.
